I hope that you are all safe and if you are working from home you are able to get work done.
Because I don’t have to drive around and see customers, I get to do all of that through web conferencing, I have a little more time on my hands without the daily commute.
Our Solutions Engineering team here in Southern California and Las Vegas realizes that during this time, it may be difficult to execute on some of those projects that you may have had lined up for the coming months, and additionally like some of our customers, could see a dynamic shift in your workforce and/or teams’ job responsibilities.
With that in mind, we thought it might be helpful to lay out some no-cost, available, online learning tracks that your teams could run through in this time.
And with that: “V4Free Light-Fingered Links for Learning” was born.
With V4Free, we will be sending out on a bi-weekly basis some curated content that can help you get up to speed on some of the products and solutions that VMware has to offer. Currently the schedule for the next couple of months is:
- April 8th: vRealize Operations Manager
- April 22nd: Virtual Cloud Networking
- May 6th: Horizon
- May 19th: NSX Advanced Load Balancer
Investing in your individual betterment will help ultimately assist in your and your teams’ growth and ability to execute on projects that may matter to you after economic hindrances lift. Let me know if these are helpful, or if you would like me to spend some one-on-one time even with the team on technologies that matter more to you.
Now, we have the next 2 months set, but we are open to ideas as to what you want to learn next. Please, in the comments, let us know what products you would like us to create learning paths for.
Enjoy the time, and enjoy V4Free Light-Fingered Links for Learning
