I am imagining by now you are all going stir crazy in this “shelter in place”, “stay at home” new norm. Every day on our conference calls, one of my friends says, “It’s Groundhog Day, again.” But the problem with him is that he is always living one day ahead of today, so maybe he can tell me what will happen next.
Fortunately, through my work here at VMware, I have all the tools to get work done. With great access to all my apps, and a VDI desktop whenever I need it. I feel blessed that I have the resources and support needed to get through these times.
I know, however, that not all companies may be that lucky, and right now, you may be struggling to implement some type of solution for your company.
This installment of V4Free comes from my teammate Earl and focuses on End User Computing and specifically on VDI with VMware Horizon. Getting through all of the topics below will take you at least 8 hours.
